THE BIG DRAW AT ST ALBANS CATHEDRAL

                                               The Big Draw at St Albans Cathedral in 2004

Artists of all ages are invited to the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban on Thursday 27th October for a Family Drawing Day. Organised as part of the national event the Big Draw the day will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm and there is no charge (thanks to CRA). You will be able to add a drawing of yourself or your family or friends to a 12 metre long panorama of modern pilgrims, take a “lucky dip” and draw whichever small detail of the building you pull out, or doodle while you have a drink or snack in the Café at the Abbey.

Local artists will be around during the day to encourage you. All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied.

Some of the drawings produced on the day, and from drawing events organised earlier by St Albans Museum and St Peter's Church (18 October) will be displayed from 1-9 November in the Cathedral.
